In South Florida, Gutman steered the achievements of The Continuum Company as managing director of sales at La Baia Bay Harbor and Continuum North Bay Village. At Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, he oversaw a real estate portfolio exceeding $3 billion including four of the most celebrated projects on Miami Beach: Canyon Ranch, 1 Hotel and Homes, Monad Terrace, and Ritz Carlton Residences, in addition to The Bristol Palm Beach.

Prior to forming Gutman Development Marketing, Gutman served as president of Brown Harris Stevens where he oversaw a sales team of approximately 200 multilingual, award-winning Realtor professionals. He launched the Sports and Entertainment Division and the BHS's Commercial Division.

In Las Vegas, Gutman led sales for the largest residential project in the United States: Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino. Gutman's key approach and direction over the project, which included strategic planning, training, quality control and negotiation, resulted in the sale of more than 1,825 units in 18 months with an astounding $1.275 billion in volume, an achievement that has yet to be surpassed.
