#301 - Stay True to Yourself with Lora Hazelwood

Lora Hazelwood of Delray Beach is a nonprofit professional with more than 26 years of fundraising and management experience in the health sector. She currently serves as Area Director for the state of Florida for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, having joined the organization in 2018. Prior to 2018, she served as Executive Director for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Greater Palm Beach Chapter, for more than 20 years.

Prior to her fundraising career, Lora served as Assistant Manager for Marketing and Public Affairs for a large health healthcare system in Knoxville, Tennessee.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Lora earned a Bachelor of Science in the College of Communications, majoring in Journalism with a concentration in Corporate Public Relations and a minor in Business (Marketing).

She has served on committees and working groups for the American Cancer Society, Palm Health Foundation, and Sacred Heart-Florida Gulf Coast, among other volunteer roles.

Lora and her husband, Jim, reside in Delray Beach and enjoy outdoor activities and time with family and friends.
