Dr. Peter Ricci is the Director of the Hospitality andTourism Management program at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The Program is a globally top-ranked program. Peter has published more than 60 industry and academic articles. He also maintains numerous hospitality industry certifications across various areas of marketing, sales, analytics, and operations.His industry career spans over 35 years.Peter is a Distinguished Alumnusof the University of Florida where he completed his bachelor'sand master'sdegrees. His doctoral studies took place at the University of Central Florida.Dr. Ricci's recent acknowledgements include a Top 100 MostInspirational People in USA Hospitality and Travel (International Hospitality Institute),Stewart Distinguished Professor and Master Teacher Award (FAU College of Business)and a Top 30 MostInfluential Educators in Hospitality (International Hospitality Institute). Peter's two proudest accomplishments are the namingof the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International(HSMAI)'s Dr. Peter Ricci Scholarship and thecreation of the Executive Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism offered by FAU at the start of COVIDand which continues to this day. The certificate has now provided lifelong learning to well over 80,000 individuals from more than 160 countries.The HSMAI South Florida scholarship named in his honor provides annual funds to ourindustry's future leadersand is moving into its 2nd decade ofcontinuation
