She is a graduate of the University of Iowa where she received a B.A. in Communications. She is a trained certified FEMA crisis communications specialist and spokesperson. Elizabeth was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa, and is thrilled to trade cornfields and snowstorms for beaches and sunshine.

A seasoned marketing and public relations professional, Julie has served in director-level positions in a number of high-profile industries. She was Director of Marketing for Downtown at the Gardens; Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the Boca Raton Museum of Art; Public Relations Director at MZD Advertising, Indianapolis; Media Relations/Press Liaison Director for His Holiness The Dalai Lama during a 2-week visit to the U.S.; and has held similar positions with the National Cowboy Museum, KSTW-Channel 11 (CBS affiliate/Seattle), The Tampa Tribune, and The Edward J. She has served on the Boards of Directors for Impact 100 Palm Beach County, Women in Communications, and Mizner Park Cultural Arts Association, and served as Board Chair/President for Gold Coast Public Relations Council and the Boca Raton Cultural Consortium. Affectionately labeled an "Air Force brat," having lived in 11 states and one foreign country, Julie is proud (and relieved) to call Florida home for the past 20+ years. Julie has one son, Logan, a student at UCF, a charming, old beagle, Scarlett, and still frisky, old cat, Coco.
