Dr. Katherine Koenig is a Registered Patent Attorney and owner of the law firm Koenig IP Works, PLLC. Katherine has helped guide clients of all sizes through the maze of intellectual property for over ten years, including the protection of trademarks, designs, patents, and plant patents in the US and abroad. Some representative technologies include turbomachinery, water remediation systems, temperature and humidity control systems, medical devices, food science, and life sciences. She attended the University of Florida, where she specialized in agricultural and plant sciences, and earned her J.D. from the University of Hawai'i. She currently serves on the Economic Development Advisory Board of the City of Fort Lauderdale and is a Board Member of the Friends of Birch State Park.
