Background (Education, experience)

Tim joined Trident Construction in 1987 after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Construction Science. He has been part of the ownership group of Trident Construction since 1999. In 2019, Tim was selected to assume the role of President. In this role, Tim directs the strategic growth and day-to-day activities of the company. He inspires our TEAM BUILD "client first" culture. Tim is actively engaged in the preconstruction efforts on our major projects and regularly monitors our success and commitment to our clients.

Tim is happily married to Ranai for over 35 years and together raised three accomplished children - all graduates of Clemson University.

Signature Accomplishments

Through Tim's 36 years of dedication to the construction industry, he has served as Project Manager and Project Executive on over 1,000 projects. Some of his signature projects include 22 WestEdge, Roper St. Francis Office Park, MUSC Heath East Cooper, The Gadsden, Anson House, The Cape on Kiawah, The Gateway Building Expansion, 100 Calhoun Street and St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church.

Tim's greatest accomplishment is creating a corporate environment that encourages mind and talent growth focused on creating the best client experience in our region.

Professional Distinctions

As a servant leader in the community, Tim is currently active on the Charleston Chamber Board, Board of Architectural Review of Summerville, American Heart Association Hard Hats for Hearts Vice Chair and the YMCA Board of Summerville. Previously, Tim served as President of the Charleston Contractors Association, the Carolinas AGC Board representative for South Carolina, the Board of Goodwill Industries and two terms on the St. Paul's Anglican Church vestry.
