About ADM:

ADM Architecture was created and founded by Aaron D. Murphy at the beginning of 2009. Aaron has 27+ years of experience with both commercial and residential design in Western Washington, including permitting and construction documents. Mr. Murphy has designed well over 2 million square feet of projects in his career, ranging from Commercial Shell & Core buildings of 5,000sf to 100,000sf. He's designed office buildings, medical/dental offices, hotels, custom homes, and industrial and warehouse buildings, among many others.
Aaron has worked in most construction types, from tilt-up concrete and curtain wall glazing, to CMU & stucco, and both metal & wood framed multi-family and residential homes.
Aaron's history with previous firms in Seattle, Bainbridge Island, Gig Harbor, and Bremerton, have allowed him to gain and hone his experience continually over the last 2+ decades.

Murphy is also a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). This provides him the expertise and continuing education for provided the best solutions for accessibility and safety in your homes with older family members. It also allows him to be uniquely qualified to help design your custom & "forever" home!
Lastly, Aaron has also been a full time (and continues to be a) real-estate investor. He founded Silver Lining Properties in 2005 and went on to design and implement a plethora of residential remodels and additions for his own company at that time. His investment experience had broadened his depth of knowledge in residential design and construction. It also taught him how to manage a company (at age 32) with multiple projects and construction teams going at the same time. He learned to track timelines, costs, and understand the profitability of decisionmaking with his own real estate investment company. This has served him well in starting ADM, and his ability to see a project (and clients' views) from all angles. Aaron's experience is a unique advantage to his clients, and in many ways, he is a better architect for having built a property investment company prior to going out on his own. He has recently moved into commercial real estate investments as well, with the purchasing of the office building his own firm is located in, as well as partnerships with other investors for additional medical/dental office buildings in Kitsap.
ADM Architecture currently has the ability to flex from a 5-8 staffed personnel firm as needed, based on project types and workload. Aaron has created solid relationships with other small firms and contract drafters, that allow him to add to his staff when needed, thanks to newer technologies which allow production to happen off site from his office location as required for their clients.
